Reader, I prayed for you this morning.

Because you’re on my email list, I pray for you.
Because you are God’s dearly loved child, I pray for you.
Because the enemy schemes to steal, kill, and destroy the good God has given you, I pray for you.
Because our Father is good—planning your future, providing for your present, unmatched in power—I pray for you.

Today I asked God for something specific on His heart for you today, and this is what I sensed in my spirit:

Even as I write this, verses flood my mind.

How in Him we live and move and have our being.
How He is God in heaven and also close at hand.
How nothing in all creation can separate us from His love.
How Jesus Himself said He longed to gather His children close, like a mother hen with her chicks.(Acts 17:28, Jeremiah 23:23–24, Romans 8:38–39, Matthew 23:37)

Reader, you are not alone.

God goes before you.
His goodness and mercy chase you.
You are not alone. He is here. Invite Him closer today.

As you lean in, you already know, there’s more of Him to receive.

Offer Him every place you’ve kept back. Every piece that feels too painful, too messy, too vulnerable, too precious.

Let Him hold the parts that seem to be falling apart, or feel out of reach.
Your joy. Your grief. You hopes. Your dreams. You loved ones.

Cling to Him. He already holds you.
